I didn’t do this list and I remember the term Gummer but I have no recollection of what group of people it refers to. I’ll have to ask a couple of the gals I am still pals with, 2 from over our lives and a few that I reconnected with on facebook last spring when I started to reach out to the world again.
I am not sure how the disclaimer worked at all. There is no doubt the article is and was offensive to the students. The teacher said it was the only real journalism in the paper, but I think he just found it funny.
